Impressions of the DLC for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Desinities
Hey, Elias, want to play a Phoenix Wright case where the defendant is a killer whale?
SHIT YES!
Dual Destinies’ DLC is a bit of a prequel, sharing the story of Mr Wright’s first case upon returning to court defence, and it is a doozy. A murder at an aquarium sees Phoenix trying to prove the innocence of Orla the Orca, and the logic defying twists and turns in this single case are an absurd delight. You’ll meet some familiar faces such as Athena Sykes and Pearls, as well as meeting some bizarre new characters such as Rimes the rapper and a flyer distributing penguin named Rifle. Yep, standard fare for Phoenix Wright.
I was saving this DLC for a rainy day when I needed the nice slow visual novel pace of the Phoenix Wright games, and it does not disappoint. Your $6.50 gives you an extremely worthwhile additional 10 hours of weird investigation and courtroom twists and turns. Fans of the series or the full game should certainly check this out.
Best game (involving a killer whale accused of murder) EVER.
