Need For Speed: Most Wanted – my drunk driving simulator

Developer/Publisher: Criterion Games/EA Released: November 2012

Played on: PS3 (also available on 360, Vita, PC, Wii U)

I hadn’t played a Need for Speed game in years, but when this popped up free on PS+ I gave it a whirl.

Most Wanted is surprisingly fun – a great big sandbox where you can drive around aimlessly or race in a variety of sexy cars. The driving feels well-balanced, the graphics are superb, and you’re having fun almost as soon as the game starts.

I didn’t spend a whole heap of time playing this, and when I did play it was usually after getting home mildly intoxicated, but the time I did spend with it was good fun. I had to delete the game because of my PS3’s puny hard drive, which is a shame as it was genuinely a fun one to boot into when I had a few minutes to kill and just wanted to play a fun driving game.

Verdict: I didn’t play much of it, but what I did was excellent.

Should Bradley play this: He would enjoy it, but I didn’t play enough to outright recommend.
